Going from 0-1530’ in 0.9mi the west face trail of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park is one of the most fun trails i have ever done. The highest point on the east coast (actual coastal area), Mt. Cadillac is the remnant of an ancient volcano and the high winds in the area have striped most of the topsoil away, in other words its about 1530’ of pure unadulterated granite :)
